HOW WE GATHER PERSONAL INFORMATION
In addition to the information you provide to us directly, we collect personal information in a number of ways, for example if you contact us via email or book online at www.halcyonspa.net the information you give is shared with these providers. In addition if you pay with a credit or debit card this information is also shared with our merchant provider. Halcyon is also PCI Compliant*. When using www.halcyonspa.net your consent is required to collect cookies**. Clients have the right to be informed of a breach of their data within 72 hours of the breach discovery.
*PCI Complaint- The Payment Card Industry Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of security standards designed to ensure all companies that accept, process, store or transmit credit or debit card information maintains a secure environment.
HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We need some personal information before we can provide our products and services to you. In some cases if we do not have this information we may not be able to provide these. In the case of a medical disclaimer provided by Halcyon this is used to assess whether the treatment and products are suitable for you.

We use your personal information to provide you with products and services and to improve and market our products and services.
SHARING AND TRANSFERRING PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share personal information such as name, email. telephone numbers and treatment history with our online booking provider. Our online website and email provider also have access to any email history you create. In addition our credit card supplier will have details of your credit or debit transactions should you wish to pay in this way (see *PCI Compliance). All your data is held securely in accordance with GDPR guidelines and all providers we share information with are GDPR compliant.
KEEPING PERSONAL INFORMATION
We keep your personal information securely for as long as we need to for the purposes described previously. For example, name, address, telephone number, email and a treatment history. In addition we keep financial records in accordance with HMRC guidelines.
Sometimes we need your consent to use your personal information, for example for marketing. Where you have given us consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time.
Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. Controlling personal information
We will not sell, distribute or lease personally identifiable information unless we are required by law to do so.
We understand that sometimes life gets in the way of your appointments. However in order for us to give the appointment to another client and thus keep our costs down we require at least 48 hours notice of cancellation of appointment. Failure to do so may result in a charge and loss of loyalty discount.
